Healing Arts for Women of Intention (WIT)

Healing Arts for Women of Intention are inspired, and innovative group sessions designed for women living with or at-risk of chronic challenges/disability and possess a passion, purpose, and persistence to live each day joyously, sharing abundant agape love, harmony, and wisdom. WIT share a common goal to explore and resolve meaningful issues and matters pertaining to the evolution of womanhood through creative self-expression, and determination. Healing Arts sessions promote general well-being, boosts mind skills, improve mood/hormone balance, and encourages connectivity to God, family and community. Activities vary with-fine arts and crafts, writing/poetry/storytelling, music/theater/drama/energy movement.

Be warned sessions are addictive and known to transform lives!

Sessions are held every first Saturday, 9-12am. Lunch served.

Registration required. Limited space, first come, first serve.

Consumer-Directed Living at Home Waiver Program (CDLH)

Our Home Sweet Home, Living at Home Waiver Program provides Consumer Training Services (CTS) and guidance to Medicaid beneficiaries, elderly, and persons with mental/physical disabilities, to receive services in their own home or community rather than institutions or other isolated settings.

Individuals and families are supported in life choices such as seeking employment and working in competitive and integrated settings, engaging in community social events, controlling personal resources, and receiving public/community services. We guide consumers to their choice of providers and services desired.

HIV/AIDS Prevention Education and Services

  • AIDS Awareness Workshops-Correctional/Medical Facilities, Colleges, Churches, Social Services, and Businesses
  • Comprehensive Risk-Reduction Counseling
  • E-Source/Computer Training to access Health/HIV/AIDS information and resources
